GodamSahur · Ramadan 1447H
A full-stack mosque management SaaS platform built for Masjid Tengku Mizan Zainal Abidin, unifying volunteer coordination, digital e-coupons, crowdfunding, zakat collection, and AI-powered crowd predictions into one intelligent system.
The Challenge
During Ramadan, mosques face a surge of simultaneous demands: distributing hundreds of iftar packs, coordinating volunteers, collecting zakat, broadcasting prayer times, and managing facility bookings, all handled manually across disconnected spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups. There was no unified system to manage any of it at scale.
Our Solution
We built Makmur as a multi-role SaaS platform with dedicated modules for each function: a QR-code e-coupon system for iftar pack distribution, a volunteer gig board for community task allocation, a transparent crowdfunding portal, a zakat locator with map integration, and an AI dashboard for crowd prediction and resource planning. Prayer times and facility bookings are handled in-platform with auto-detected location.
The Outcome
Deployed and live during Ramadan 1447H with 8 fully functional modules. Recognised as one of the best projects at GodamSahur, a Ramadan hackathon by wiser.my where developers build and ship a working MVP over the course of the holy month, competing for a RM10,000 shared prize pool.
